Call of Duty is such a video game franchise that made us experience military forces and war in our childhood and showed us how dangerous these wars are. So hello everybody and welcome to Games Gossip India today I’ll tell you the top 10 best Call of Duty games of all time. COD: Advanced Warfare
This game was the 11th installment of the COD series which was released in November 2014 and was developed by Sledgehammer Games. The story of the game is set in between 2054 and 2061 with a futuristic setting and the story revolves around the game character Jack Mitchell who is a commando from Merry United States Corp & Atlas Corporation. According to the game Atlas is a private military corporation who sells their services to the highest bidder. The story and the campaign mode are really good along with the graphics. Though when the game was released it got mixed reviews from people and if you have played then tell me how did you like it!
COD- Black Ops 3
COD- Black Ops 3 was the third installment of the Black Ops series which was released in November 2015 and developed for PS 4, Xbox 1, PC, and Microsoft Windows by Treyarch. The story is set in 2065, 40 years after Black Ops 2, where we can see how our world is facing so many conflicts and still surviving through climate change and new technologies and Third Cold War is also going on between 2 global alliances, known as Winslow Accord and the Common Defense Pact. Here you get a campaign mode which is very good, and the Man vs Machine angle was loved by people. Along with these, we see a multiplayer mode and a short zombie story mode and we also get to see a few bonus short campaigns. This game is a mediocre type and got good reviews If you have played then tell me what are the things you liked about this game.
Call of Duty- WWII
Call of Duty- WWII was the 14th game of COD franchise which was developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, obviously. It took 3 years to develop and was released in November 2017 for Xbox, PS 4, and Windows. The game is set in western Europe during the WWII time period, which is shown in a dramatic way with iconic moments of WWII, and regarding the modes, campaign mode, one multiplayer mode and zombie survival mode is available. The campaign mode was good and people really liked it and here we get to see quite a dense version of Nazi Army. So if you have played then share your thoughts in the comment section.
COD- Modern Warfare 3
COD- Modern Warfare 3 was the third game of Modern Warfare series which was developed by Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward and was released worldwide in 2011 for Windows, PS 3, Xbox 360, and Wii platform. This continues the story of Modern Warfare 2 which was also a great game, we will talk about it later. This story shows the after events of the final mission of Modern Warfare 2 which revolves around Task Force 141 and our character Capt. Price, Soap Mac Tavish, and Yuri. We see a Russian terrorist who is a leader of a Russian Ultra Nationalist party who executes many attacks in Europe and triggers a large-scale war. Here in this game single-player campaign and multiplayer mode is available, and this game was very successful for the COD franchise.
COD- World at War
COD- World at War was the 5th installment of the COD franchise and from the audience, it got good ratings during it’s launch. It was also developed by Treyarch and published by Activision in November 2008. The story is based in 1942 when America is fighting with Japan in WWII and Russians are fighting with Nazi Germany. The plot of the game is really good but the AI does weird things. If you have played this game then you will agree with me, which means our teammates come to the line of sight automatically and die, and the story and the graphics were really good in modes, here you will see single-player campaign, along with the multiplayer mode.
COD- Black Ops 2
COD Black Ops 2 was 1st game of the COD franchise which introduces the players to warfare with futuristic technologies in the COD franchise. It was the 1st game that gave players a chance to customize according to their choices and also gave options to select weapons before playing campaign mode. It was also developed by Treyarch and published by Activision in November 2012. The story of the game is set in the late 1980s and 2025. Regarding the plot, in 1980 we can switch control between Alex Mason and Frank Woods, they are the protagonists of our game. One story is set in 2025 and if I say more then it’d be a spoiler for those who haven’t played it yet. It was one of the most successful games of the COD franchise, people loved this game, and it also made many records as well.
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 2 was developed by Infinity Ward and Aspyr Media and published by Activision in November 2005. It was the 2nd installment of COD games and was set during WWII. This game 4 individual campaigns in total, and every campaign WWII war was shown through different soldier’s perspectives. Overall the game was good and players gave good ratings to this game.
COD-Black Ops
COD-Black Ops is the continuation of the sequel of World at War. It was released in November 2010 and was developed by Treyarch. Regarding the plot, it’s set during the Vietnam War which happened between 1961-68, and during the Cold War, USA and USSR were very aggressive, hence Black Ops revolves around the top secrets of CIA operations. This is one of the best games of Call of Duty and it also got good responses from players and game critics.
COD 4- Modern Warfare
COD 4- Modern Warfare is the 4th installment of the COD franchise and it was developed by Infinity Ward. This game was released in November 2007 for PC, PS 3, and Xbox 360. It was the first game of COD that was not based on WWII. The story is set in 2011 when a civil war was going on between the Russian Government and Ultra Nationalists, and this game is considered to be one of the best games of COD of that time and the game got good responses from players and critics, both.
COD- Modern Warfare 2
COD- Modern Warfare 2 It was the 6th installment of the COD franchise and the 2nd part of Modern Warfare series. It was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, obviously in November 2009. No matter how much you praise this game, it is always less. The graphics were very good as well as the story according to that time. It’s also called the best COD game and the plot twists and turns were also great, which makes the ending super cool for this game.
